When looking to book our ME in August is asks:

Arrival Date.......................Depart Date

Airline...............................Airline

Flight Number.....................Flight Number

Arrival Time........................Departing Time

Arriving From......................Departing To

It's the arriving from and departing to that confuses me. When filling in the form do I put the airport we fly out of/into or the connecting airport. We want to make sure our lugage ends up at the correct places. Any help would be greatly apprectiated. Our first time using the service, does it show.

When I added Magical Express to our DVC reservation, over the phone, they only asked for the dates and flight numbers. I asked which flight number they wanted since there were connections and they said only the flights coming into and out of Orlando.

Wouldn't they need to know all connecting flights also? If not, when you changed planes how would your luggage be tied to you? I have never taken a flight where I had to switch planes, except on business and then I just had a carry-on anyway.

On your arrival they only need your connrcting flight into Orlando. On your departure if you are checking your bags at the ME desk you need to give them your final destination so they can check you all the way through to your home airport!! Its really only for flight times unless your are using the ME desk on your departure.

This was NOT a Disney error, but take is few seconds to check this.

When you check your bags, double check where the tag says your bags are going, the flight number and date, of all the connecting flight too. I had a trip last summer and my bag was tagged incorrectly and went to Montana, which is I'm sure a wonderful place to be, but NOT when you are going to Hawaii.
There we were in Hawaii, and no luggage for 4 days!!!

So, take a time to make sure you have the right tag on your bags, and make sure your claim check matches the tag. That is about the only way they can track a mis-routed bag.

Thanks for the clarification. I now understand that it is for flight times and I'll provide the other information at a later date.
