Magical Express One Way Question.....

We'll be arriving on May 1st and leaving May 6th. Since Magical Express does not begin until May 5th, I was wondering if we could just use the return portion or if the package is booked roundtrip only? I can wait until March to call, but just wondering if someone knew. Thanks!

Yes you can. We'll be arriving April 28th, leaving May 8th, and we are booked for our return only.

I have that same question about being able to book for Magic Express already. I'm a DVC member, & when I just tried to make reservations for Express service for a 5/14-5/21 trip, they told me I'd need to call back March 1. Reservations are not being taken until then. I tried to call the main reservation line over the weekend, but they said I'd need to make my reservations through the DVC line. Does anyone know what's up?

We booked a 1-way return also. We're heading to the beach for 3 days first, so we're renting a car for a week and returning it at the car care center.

I seems that the necessary programming changes have already been made to the CRO computer system (for conventional reservations), but that the necessary changes won't be implemented on the DVC Member Services computer system (for DVC point reservations) until March 1.

You only have to reserve Magical Express 10 days ahead of time. March 1 will give you over 2 months until the earliest possible Magical Express service, and 2 1/2 months until your reservations.

There does not seem to be any benefit to booking early, except that it's one more thing you can cross off your list of things to do.
