We just booked a trip to WDW and we will arrive at MCO around 9:30 p.m. Has anyone had an evening arrival using Magical Express, and would they recommend it? I would assume we would pack a carry on with pajamas and things needed for bedtime.

Thanks.

Just bumping this question :Pinkbounc ,I too am interested in hearing what people say about late arrivals. We will be landing at MCO at 9 PM. Any info re DME?

If you do a search you will find many reports of late evening DME experiences. The reports have been postive. Is there a concern that you have that maybe someone could help you with?

My concern is that we will be traveling with a toddler. I was wondering if they will be knocking on our door at 2 AM or so, to deliver the bags. Also wondering about the DME in general, how long a ride is it from MCO to the GF? Wondering if we should just rent a towncar. :confused3

You can have them hold the luggage till morning if you don't want to be disturbed. I don't think you will have any problems with DME. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to GF from the airport.

safetymom,

You answered one of my concerns - that they would bring our luggage to our room at midnight and wake our kids up.

I guess my other question was how long the wait was for the ME during the evening hours. I didn't know if more buses came at peak times and less maybe at night. Just like karensi, I have two toddlers and I'm trying to have the easiest transition. But you just can't beat the free transportation so I'm willing to risk it.

I had a 8 pm arrival and used DME. I waited 10 min for the dme bus to depart. I did however (being that I want my things when I arrived) get my own suitcases and have them stored under the bus. I then had bell svcs transport to my room. I just went to bell services after I checked in and gave them the room # they walked up with me and showed me to the room.

I was in bed asleep by 9:30 for a 7 am wake up breakfast ADR.
