Magical Express at End of DVC Rental Stay

My mother is coming with my family on our next trip. She'll be staying at Boardwalk, us at Beach Club - both villas were DVC rentals.

Originally we were all driving down together, and driving back together as well. However, my family now has extra time to stay in FL, and my mother decided that at the end of her DVC stay, rather than staying with us, she wants to take a flight to visit other family elsewhere.

Do we have to contact the DVC owner to arrange for my mom to have Magical Express take her to the airport on her departure day, or can we just arrange that when we're down there?

And there wouldn't be a problem if she has luggage to check and is going to a city that is not her home address on file, right?

She can call DVC or she can call DME directly (toll-free number in both the DME stickies at the top of this forum, starts with 866 if you need to search for it, DON'T bother booking through the typical Disney reservations number).

No, they don't care what her destination is. They'll send her luggage wherever her air reservation indicates; she'll be responsible for it from that airport's luggage carousel on.
