Just found this forum, and it is great to read tips and comments from other Canadians. My son (age 15) and I will be spending 4 days at CBR in 2 weeks! I'm wondering, how convenient is it to take the Magical Express to catch a flight home on WestJet? Does it drop you anywhere near the WestJet check-in desk?
Also, we will be arriving at DWR by car because we're going to spend a few days at the beach first. I haven't yet made my reservations for the Magical Express and was thinking I would just do so when I check into the resort. Or should I be booking ahead?
Thanks for your input!

There is only 1 drop off point for DME so he will have to walk to wherever WestJet is. Also you need to register in advance.

I flew WestJet to Orlando last month. I had a map of the Orlando airport, so I didn't have too many problems finding my way around. You can also ask one of many airport staff to point you in the right direction.

We used it when we travelled home on Westjet last October. They will drop you off at the right terminal but then we had to walk all the way down to the right - there are usually plenty of airport people you can ask to direct you! We didn't find the walk too bad but MAgic Express picks you up very early!

If you opt to take the DME back to the airport, factor in a pick-up time that is 4 hours prior to your flight. The 3-hour rule of thumb seems only to apply for local flights, and anything international is 4-hours minimum. Lots of time to spend at the airport gift shops and food court. (Don't make the mistake that I did and presume that there is a similar food court on the other side of Security. There isn't so eat and do any last shopping before you go through Security.)
