Magical Express and Wait List

Let's say you had a reservation at OKW and were wait listed at AKV. Your Magical Express tags are for OKW. Then 10 days before you leave, your wait list comes through. Would you no longer use the tags and just get your luggage at MCO before heading to the ME desk, or would your bags still make it to AKV if you left them on?

I'm thinking the safe thing would be to handle the luggage yourself, but ME is just so convenient normally.

Call Magical Express and update your reservation.

Don't put the yellow tags on your suitcases. When you get to Magical express, stop by the desk and they will get the numbers from the tags the airline put on your suitcase.

you can still use the tags the bar code will tell Disney where the bags go. You can also just check at the desk too. Unless they changed something your good to go.
