Hello! We are headed to WDW in November for our first family trip. Our family includes 8 year old twin boys, one with cerebral palsy (uses a walker and wheelchair). We are flying Air Canada and staying at the Grand Floridian. Given the exta equipment, I want to make the right choice for airport transfer.

If you had a w/c, walker and young boys, would you use the Magical Express or arrange your own service (we won't be renting a car/van)? Does it make any difference that we are travlling Air Canada? We want to make things as efficient and painless as possible!

Thanks!

We always take a limo/ It is just more convenient. We use Tiffany town car, check their website. There is usually a coupon for money off. There are several limo services and they are all good.

HI TwinMum,

We have used FL Tours three times for our towncar to and from our resort. It is very convenient. It costs about $100 round-trip (USD). They meet you near your baggae claim and help take the luggage to the car. The car is parked very close to the baggage claim. We enjoy using this service. They also offer a 20min grocery stop where you can run in and grab some pop, snacks, beer etc.

In case you weren't aware....there is also a forum called disABILITIES (just below the Canadian forum) where you might be able to pick up some useful info too.

Not sure about this but I am sure the disABILITIES board would know - you may be able to get a GAC (guest assistance card I think) from either the GF or the Park which allows you to use some special entrances to some rides - making it easier for you to manouver the 'cattle ropes'.

Best of luck and I hope you have a FABULOUS trip!!!!!!!

We have never used magical express, always Tiffany Towncars. The towncar service is excellent and would recommend.

I have also head good things about ME.

Have a great trip at The Grand Floridian

I just want to say that I am SO jealous that you will be staying at the Grand Floridian - it's my personal favourite - you will LOVE it!! :goodvibes

I agree, make it easier on yourself and hire the limo.

I would call the limo company and explain about your w/c and walker so that they can send the appropriate type of vehicle to accomodate all your belongings.
