Has anyone taken advantage of the Magical Beginings Program for preschoolers? It will be available when we are there Sept. 22-29th. If anyone went last year, I would love to hear their experiences. What characters were there? And I would love to know anyone that is planning on making it this year.

Thanks so much!!!

It was taking place when we were there last year. Fantasyland opened an hour early on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Also, they had a lot of preschool-type concerts planned during that time in MGM. (Doodlebops, Wiggles, Johnny and the Sprites.)

We will be there at the end of Sept. Besides the concerts and the early morning hours, I have also heard that the characters ride the rides with the kids and play around with them. :goodvibes

That would be awesome to see the characters riding with the kids!
I can't wait to go!:rotfl:

Here are the characters that were out for last year's MB EMH:
*Alice and Mad Hatter (rode Teacups)
*Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore
*Snow White and Dopey (I believe Snow White rode the ride)
*Peter Pan, Wendy, and Hook (Peter Pan and Wendy rode)
*Stitch (rode Dumbo)
*Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Daisy
*Goofy, Chip, and Dale (rode Carrousel)

It was a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is there to go.

We were there last year when the Wiggles were at MGM. Just a word of warning -- there were long lines to obtain "tickets" for the Wiggles shows. I was very glad that my preschoolers didn't care to see The Wiggles!! We avoided that part of the park during that time of the day!

It was in effect last year when my sister and I were there. Fantasyland was filled with characters playing with the kids. They were riding on the rides with the kids. It looked like alot of fun for the kids. No individual picture were allowed and no autographs.

We saw Wendy ride with a little boy and then met up with Peter Pan. Mickey and Minnie were playing ball with some children. Snitch rode on Dumbo with kids and we saw the Mad Hatter ride on the teacups and then he joined Alice after the ride.

It was really very cute.

We did this last year. DD loved it! I personally thought that the Johnny and the Sprites show at MGM was GREAT. I'm a little disappointed that we don't get to see him again this year! Doodlebops are in town this time while we are there and since none of us are Doodlebop fans, I won't be waiting in line for the tickets. (if you haven't done this...you don't have to PAY for the tickets but you do need to get a ticket in the morning on the day of the performance with your performance time on it).
