When pricing the vacations at Disney, when I choose "Magic Plus option" it seems if you are doing 4-day you might as well get the 7-day pass because it's only about $6-$7 more! I was wondering if I was seeing things. I guess the longer you stay the better deal it is :) It seems the biggest differences are between 1-3 days.

But since we are only going for about 4-5 days to the parks, and the other times to Blizzard Beach and Pleasure Island, I feel like I shouldn't get the 7-day pass. But I guess it may be better so that way if we change our minds about what to do each day or do a water park and a regular park on the same day it may be better to be flexible rather than save a few dollars.

Also, if I am boooking at Disney Resort, is it cheaper to book hotel and tickets together or book the hotel and buy tickets at a cheaper online site?

If you buy the longer tickets, make sure the don't expire and you can use them again.

If not, you loose those days, unless like you said, you do a park and a water park the same day.

Right now there are no codes to lower room rates. Annual Pass holders are waiting daily for late spring and early summer to come out and they haven't yet. There has not been any codes since last fall for this winter and spring. I did receive an e-mail in Jan. and I can get a value room for $74 from April 10-July 4.

Have you tried joining Ticketmania newsletter, they give you a direct link for discounted tickets. The 2 sites they give can't be directly linked from the DIS you have to be a newsletter member.
