Hiya

Has anybody every used the platinum package?

just been looking at it and it works out quiet resonable I think

anybody

Have you got a link to the info on this Anna? I've never heard of a Platinum Package.

the premium package is roughly $5000, and includes pop century, 14 day tickets, food, and all the rest listed. I cant decide whether its worth it or not

the platinum package is only available at deluxes

Is $5000 for the two of you or the four of you (i.e. yor parents as well)? How much is the Pop Century accomodation only? For comparison (you must have had an "accomodation only" quote for the dates that you are staying...?)?

Have you had a quote for the platinum package? If so do you know how that compares to accomodation only costs?

Think it is the "price difference" that helps you decide whether it is worth it... i.e. look at the accomodation only costs, add the cost of the park tickets, compare that total with the package. Is the difference less or more than you would expect to spend on food and activities (you could break it down to a daily amount if that helped)? Depends on what you intend to do whilst there, where you intend to eat and what your budget is.

This sort of package can work out very well for some, but is a waste of money for others (i.e. they end up paying loads for a package, then don't make the most of it and it would have been cheaper to just pay as they went along...).

Why did you go back to Pop Century, again, after booking a Deluxe (Wilderness Lodge)? Is there a reason that you decided against a Deluxe - if so that may affect your decision regarding the "Platinum Package" (if that is Deluxes only...)? If that makes sense.... :)

Boo

We did a premium package in '01, it was all inclusive and was at the CBR.
It is well worth it if and only if you plan on doing more then just the parks:
golf, parasail, tours, water ski, horseback ride etc.

You also can eat at any restaurant in Disney and DTD(can be all TS for 3 meals a day) Way to much food but fun to be able to order anything you want.

The only extra cost was if you wanted to do the Richard Petty driving thing.

We could pick any resort and the cost would adjust accordingly.

Have a wonderful trip! :cheer2:
