5 day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper. Anyone know what these tickets involve? Thanks

With Magic Your Way Tickets, you first choose the number of days you want on a base ticket that allows you to enter one theme park each day. (You can enter that same park multiple times on the same day.)

Adding the Park Hopper Option lets you come and go as you please through any or all of the four major Walt Disney World theme parks for each day of your pass.

We personally like hopping from park to park. Like Magic Kingdom in the morning and early afternoon and then hopping over to Epcot to finish out the afternoon and staying for Illuminations.

Hopping is good! :cool1:

As explained to me in '05 by my TA:

The Magic Your Way tickets give you a wide array of options. The tickets are designed to fit your vacationing needs.
1. The Base Ticket -- This ticket can be purchased for 1 to 10 days. You will have admission to one of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's MGM Studios) each day, for the number of days on your ticket.
2. The Magic Your Way w/Park Hopper Option -- This ticket can be purchased for 1 to 10 days. This will give you admission to all four of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's MGM Studios) and allows you to go from park to park on the same day for the number of days your ticket is good for.
3. The Magic Your Way w/Water Parks and More Option (formerly Magic plus Pack Option) -- This ticket can be purchased for 1 to 10 days. This ticket is the same as the base ticket but adds visits for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Blizzard Beach Water Park, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest, and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.
4. The Magic Your Way Premium Ticket -- This ticket can be purchased for 1 to 10 days. This pass is jam packed with fun. You get the Magic Your Way w/ Park Hopper Option and the Magic Your Way w/Water Parks and More Option combined.
Please be aware that all tickets will expire 14 days from their initial use. However, you may add the no expiration option to any package and your tickets will never expire.

speaking from years of experience, might want to look at adding the plus options instead of the hopper option. Personally, we always found that it takes too long to hop from park to park in a day and we always enjoy adding the water parks instead. The hopper option does add quite a bit to your price per day. The plus option actually gives you extra full days at the waterparks (in addition to your park days)!

Just from personal experience, if you're travelling with little ones we found that the base ticket works well. Usually by the time you've walked around one park you're usually looking for the bus back to the resort so you can sit by the pool:lmao: The park hopper option we've used when it's been adults only and it comes in handy but even then I think 1 park, 1 day(MK- use 2 days)is a good way to go.

I agree with adding water parks instead of hopping. One park per day just requires a tiny bit more thought about what you want to do. If it is an adult group than the hopping option would be useful for the dinning options that it gives you.
