Who has used the Magic Your Way Express- having your luggage taken from the Airport to your room? How long did you have to wait for your luggage to arrive? We are leaving on Thursday and I am debating using this service. Our plane lands at 6pm and we have dinner reservations at 8:30- 1900 Park Fare. Should I use the MYWE? We plan on taking a cab from Pop Century to the Grand Floridian to ensure we make our ressi's on time....

Do you need your luggage for your dinner? I am sure you would have it before bedtime if you arrive at 6. THe only issue is will you need a change of clothes, etc before dinner. If so, you may want to pack something in your carry on.

I used ME when I went last time. I arrived very late (at 11) so I carried my suitcases on the bus. But everything I have heard from folks who have used this service for their luggage has been positive. I would think you should arrive at your hotel before 8. You could always wait until after dinner to check in. The other option is to just take it home if you think you will be cutting it too close. Check out the Transportation board here and you can get a ton of info on ME. JJ

We used ME in Nov, March and again last week without a problem. Last week our flight was delayed and we didn't get to the BWV till 8:30 with a ressie for Cape May at 9:10. MS explained they will hold ressies 15-30 minutes after. Good thing we didn't get to Y&B till 9:30. Our bags arrived while we were at dinner.
If you need a change of clothes for dinner bring it with you as a carryon.

If you are going to fly then you have to use the MAGICAL EXPRESS..... what a wonderful start to your vacation. You don't have to stand and pick out your luggage, nor arrange for trans[ortation to the resort. We did this our Christmas 05 trip. We got off the plane and went to the hotel to check in then off to the themepark. While we were out having fun the luggage magically appeared.

We are going in OCt 06 and already made plans to utilize ME this trip. We will be arriving in Orlando at 12:30 am so I am sure we will take a carry on bag for PJ's at but at that time we could probably sleep in anything.

Not only is it convient it is economical... same money buy more stuff!!!!

Used it twice and would definitely recommend it. If you want to change clothes just pack a carry on and refresh in your room and go. When you get back luggage will be there.

Have a great trip!

:thumbsup2 We just returned and used Magical Express. It was a very positive experience. DH wanted to take care of the bags himself after some things we had heard/read, but everything worked out just perfect. We had maybe a 5 minute wait after checking in to get on our bus, maybe another 10 minutes before we were off to POFQ. Got checked into our room, walked over to check out the pool area and decided to take the kids to the food court for ice cream. By the time we made it back to our room (45 minutes to an hour after checking in at the hotel), our luggage was already there waiting for us. We would definitely use it again. I can't wait until I get the green light to start planning another trip!

As long as Disney offers the Magical Express we will continue to use it. It really took the stress out of arriving for vacation. No car rentals, no toll roads, no trying to read maps & getting lost!! :thumbsup2

I think it's the best idea Disney has come up with since Dole Whips!! :)

Thanks for all the positive opinions! My DH and I were debating this issue tonight. We'll be at BWI for 10 nights. As we probably won't go off site, I think it's silly to spend the money for an 11 day car rental. He was worried about the efficiency of ME. Now I can tell him we don't need to worry. :cool1: : I figure if we want to go off site to hit the outlets or something we can get a daily rental at the dolphin. Has anyone ever done that? Does it work out ok?

We had reservations about using ME, but our worries were for nothing. We checked in at Animal Kingdom Lodge at 3:30 pm and had our luggage by 5:00 pm. Most of the kinks have been worked out of the system by now. If you really want your bags to travel on the bus with you, you can have the driver load the bags in the bus storage and you will have them when you arrive at your resort.
