I am sure there must be a few disers out here who have also tried Celebrity's Constellation. We have been on the Magic once and loved it, but decided to try the Constellation for an "adult cruise" Anyone have any feedback on the differences as well as the similarities I should expect to find?

The things we enjoyed most on the Disney cruise were the friendly staff(Richard the bartender in Palo was our favorite because he could make Mojitos!), good food and of course the Disney entertainment. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Celebrity is my family's cruise line of choice. I have not sailed the Constellation, but I've sailed the Summit and Infinity, and my family has sailed the Century and Mercury. I think any Celebrity ship is a good one. We had excellent service--not only from our serving team and housekeeping team but everyone we came into contact with! The slogan is true: You feel like a celebrity when you cruise Celebrity. IMO the interiors of the Celebrity ships are much prettier than Disney.
However, Celebrity is more adult-oriented. Their children's programs are not as elaborate as Disney (based on what I saw--the kids on Celebrity coloring at a table w/a counselor). I think small children would be bored on Celebrity.
The production shows are impressive (comparable to Disney)
If you are looking for a "more mature" vacation, I would definitely try Celebrity.

Thank you for the response! It sounds like Celebrity is exactly what we are looking for this coming trip. I am sure we will have a great time. How would you compare the food between Disney and Celebrity? I am not exceptionally picky, but I do enjoy having some nice meals and the service to go with them. We thought the food in the main dining rooms on the Magic was great and Palo was exceptional, especially for brunch.

IMO the food on Celebrity is better. There are many choices, and everything is great! I enjoyed the Lido deck for breakfast and lunch (there is a regular line, a pasta bar, and a sandwich bar). There are several more options--the main dining room, lighter fare at the indoor pool, hamburgers and pizza at the outdoor pools (better than Plutos and Pinocchios), or room service. There is one specialty restaurant for dinner. I haven't been there, but it got rave reviews from my tablemates on my most recent cruise. Disney's food is delicious, but there's just that extra something w/Celebrity. (Now, I'm getting hungry!)
Now that I reread your original post, I see that you are looking for an adult vacation. I say Celebrity all the way. (an added bonus is that it's cheaper than Disney) Most DISers recommend Royal Caribbean as an alternative to Disney. I've done both, and my vote is Celebrity.
