This was such a mixed cruise.. it was mostly good, so i will start off staying that.
First, we got upgraded because somehow our friend got past the gate before they noticed people were trying too, and we upgraded to the concierge suites for the week! WOW, how nice was that!! SPOILED!!!!
The bad:
I am quite disappointed in the spa. I booked a pamper package, and lets just say i am not the average size 8, and the spa robes were 'one size fits all' - but it didnt fit me. I asked for a larger one, and they didnt have them. Since its a co-ed place, i had to wear clothes under my robe, so i was not embarassed, but this just embarassed me more! I am disappointed in the DCL for not having larger robes to accomodate at least SOME people. I asked, and was told none are on board...
The massage i had, was just about as good as my daughter gives me (shes 5) and i dont think it was worth the money. It was 149.00 for the facial and massage, on a port day, and i was sent out with sore-er muscles than i arrived with!
Then after the facial, i was hounded on trying to buy 550.00 worth of facial products. The bill was handed to me, and then i refused and she cut down some of the price, until i insisted on no more! This was sad... disney shame on you for trying to pressure me after a massage on SALES!
Some people said the food was awful on the cruise recently, i have to say we didnt have ONE bad meal at all there!!! Everythign was wonderful!
Finally tried Palo, it was the hilight of our week! Soooo delish! Chocolate souffle was amazing!!
Overall, it was an amazing week.. we tried to do our personal double dip, and stay for another week to do the East Carribean cruise but the ship was booked up
Sadly.. now we are stuck at home, in the pending snow storms! AHHH
