Magic Pool Question...

I've heard the horror stories about trying to get a seat at the pool and the "chair saving" problems. My question is, if we don't get a seat near the pool are there chairs further away where I can still relax and keep an eye on my 6 and 8 year olds?? Obviously I don't want to be too far away in case of a problem, but I still would like to kick back and enjoy the sea air!

Yes, there are tables with four chairs around them that are not too far away from the pool. That's what we did when all of the loungers were "occupied". We were close enough to feel it was a safe watching distance. A side benefit is that some are in the shade if you can't take too much sun.

I just pulled one of the straight chairs like are around the tables over and sat it on the deck so I could see my children. I really couldn't see into the water unless I was right at the edge of the pool. I put it on the raised deck area so I could look down into the pool.

I went in September and we had no problem getting chairs.

It's definitely not as bad as you think. I'm sure you will have no problems finding a place to sit around the pool.

Maybe I'm alone, but we were never able to find chairs anywhere near the pool during peak time. It wasn't the end of the world, we found a table on the deck above where we could keep our eye on them. (Our kids are a bit older, so there wasn't a need to be right on top of them...just more comfortable being able to see them)

But the other option is to sit at the side of the pool, as I saw many parents with little ones doing each day. Anyhow...it is a bit annoying, but there's really nothing that can be done about it. Just try to find something, and if not, adapt.
