Ah yes. St. Maartin, where EVERYTHING is half off. My son recovered, my daughter probably tried to sneak some dogs on board, and I'm still wondering how the half off folks dealt with all that sand. Me, I'm still finding it in my ears ...
Orient Beach was nice. Big waves, good food, overall score: 8. Man with a backpack (and nothing else): 10 for guts (wouldn't he chafe?)

Pirate Night! Wonderful. Can't say enough, arrgh. Loved every second, and the kids were enthralled. Felt lucky beyond belief, especially after the island today. We pinched ourselves many times.
Wednesday, St. Thomas. YAY! So beautiful at the dock. We had our excursion here, the Barefoot Snorkle. Highly recommend this, we all had a blast. This was a highlight for us, and we decided that next year, we're doing a Windjammer Cruise and snorkeling every day. We loved this catamaran and this experience that much. Saw the most beautiful fish, and yeah, they were naked to but it didn't seem to bother my son.
