My 2 teen daughters and I are going to Magic Mountain in 2 weeks. We're roller coaster enthusiasts and plan to ride as many as possible. The loose article policy states that you can't bring a purse with you onto certain coasters, but waist packs are OK. I have a small baggalini purse, not much larger than a fanny pack that I could wrap and secure around my waist. I used it at Cedar Point on all their coasters without any problem. Will this be allowed at Magic Mountain? If not, what do people use to hold cell phone, car keys, drivers license and credit cards while they're on the coasters? It would be lovely if they had free lockers by each coaster like Universal does, but it doesn't look like they do, from what I can tell on the website.

It has been so many years for me going there, but I don't recall lockers. But as long as it wraps around you like a fannypack you should be okay. You could always call customer service and see if any of the rides offer lockers as well.

My experience is at six flags discovery kingdom. They say on certain rides with no bag policy if you have a bag it needs to be walked down the exit by a non rider, drink bottles and umbrellas could be left at the rid in a special rack. I carry stuff in zipped pockets or an old money belt or fanny pack. I leave a lot at home.
