Planning our itinerary for our trip Saturday March 31-Tues Apr 3. I'm thinking we should use our MM on the first day, Saturday....or should we use it Sunday? We will also be using a Toontown one day. Is the Toontown avail everyday?

We are taking our 6 and 2 yo boys. I'm thinking starting off with Nemo and Fantasyland first thing would be nice...
Thanks in advance for any tips! I haven't been to DL for almost 4 years! We are getting so excited!!!

The ToonTown Morning Madness is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (typically...it can sometimes change).

Definitely do NOT waste your Magic Morning on Nemo!!! It's a 20 minute ride, so by the time you get to the subs, do the ride, and get off, half of your MM is over!!! It's a real waste. Do Fantasyland first thing and then you can make your way to Nemo after you've hit the Fantasyland attractions. The line for Nemo will still be relatively short, but you will have gotten the most bang-for-your-buck with your Magic Morning in Fantasyland.

Check out my MM superthread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403

Is MM the same as Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness?
No, Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness (MTTMM) is ONLY for people who buy packages from AAA, Costco, Disney, etc. Simply by staying onsite does not grant MTTMM privileges. You must have bought a package. MTTMM is entry into Mickey's Toontown one hour before it opens. Since Mickey's Toontown usually opens one hour after official park opening, MTTMM often begins at official park opening. Different to MM days, MTTMM is offered on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, making Saturday the only day in which both MM and MTTMM is offered.

Which day of our trip should we go to MM?
Generally if there are two MM days offered during your trip, but you only have 1 MM to use, the best day to use it would be the first possible day. So if you were going to the parks for a very long weekend (Saturday-Tuesday) and you only had 1 MM, you would have to choose to use it on Saturday, Sunday, or Tuesday. My recommendation is to use it on Saturday because by the end of your trip you WILL be more tired and less inclined to wake up early. Also, even though crowds on Saturdays and Sundays will be greater, it is better to choose these days (if possible) than weekdays during offseasons. This is true because the parks open sometimes 2 hours earlier on the weekends than on the weekdays and less people will want to get up for MM at 7AM on a Saturday than 9AM on a Tuesday.

What's the best "touring plan strategy" for MM?
Assuming you are doing Fantasyland for your MM, in order to have the shortest lines, this strategy is recommended:
(0). Arrive before MM begins and run straight to...
1. Peter Pan (always first!!!)
2. Dumbo
3. Matterhorn/Mr. Toad/Alice
4. Pinocchio/Snow White/Mad Tea Party/King Arthur's Carousel

The reason why many don't recommend riding Space during MM is that it has FP, meaning, with a FP, you can ride it with a short line even during normal park hours. The rides in #1-3 (in the above FL plan) don't have FP AND they will most likely have lengthy lines during the day. Thus, the best time to ride them is in the early morning.

As for Nemo and Star Tours, I wouldn't recommend riding them either during MM because unless you are one of the first ones in their respective lines, the combined wait time + ride time can suck up at least half of your MM hour, if not the whole thing. I'd much rather ride 9 rides in an hour than 1-2 rides.

Personally, I like to use Magic Morning at our first opportunity because we get more tired the longer we are there so it's harder to get going in the morning. Even if your kids are habitually early risers, they might end up wanting to sleep later or if they don't, you yourself might still have more trouble getting going.

Fantasyland would be the best way to start with kids those ages, especially on an early morning. Find the stickies on the boards here that are loaded with tips for more info, but I'll start you out by telling you to go to Peter Pan first, then Dumbo, then Alice, and so on. Nemo is a very slow loading ride so would eat up a substantial portion of your Magic Morning time if you started with it.

You will want to arrive at the parks before the gates open each day. You are going during the peak of spring break time, so expect crowds to be substantial.

Oh, I didn't think about Nemo wasting so much of the precious hour! Duh! Thanks! I think we will head for Peter Pan and Dumbo, etc right away on Saturday morning.
My youngest loves Nemo, but the older one has been on it before and could care less.
I am a little nervous about the crowds, but we are bringing grandma and grandpa, too. So I figured if it gets too crowded we can always relax at the hotel in the afternoon when it is at its craziness, right?
I plan on returning next year, so we can visit Cars land-so whatever we miss out this time, we can do next year!

How crowded do you think it will be later at night, after the boys are in bed and hubby and I can go on Space Mountain, etc?
