So how does it work, booking with a good neighbour hotel and getting 3 day pass we get one magic morning, do we have to pre book which day of our stay that will be or do we just show up early and go about it like we would any other morning.

On the other hand, just booked our ADR and I have an interview at my local disney store thursday waaahoooooo

Your magic morning will be good at Disneyland only (not CA.) Just show up on a valid morning - there will be gates designated specifically for this. Have fun and good luck with your interview :)

The Magic Morning tied to your ticket is for Disneyland (DCA is only for On-Site guests) on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

As the PP said, you just show up on the morning when Magic Morning is happening. MM normally happens on Tue, Thu and Sat mornings, but check your dates to be sure. MM is tied to your ticket and it doesn't matter if you're staying at a Good Neighbor hotel or not. You wonky get one MM, so it's worth trying to be at the gate a little before the listed start time so you can get into DL as close to opening as possible. DL's MM includes most attractions in Fanasyland and Tomorrowland (and the shops along Main Street).

Okay, perfect! Thanks, I am beyond nervous!

Thanks, Tuesday is definitely going to work best for us.

Thanks for all of your info, I have never done MM before so this is a cool treat for me!

Just be yourself, nothing to be nervous about, you'll do fine. The best interview I ever did was on an April 1st. No JOKE! It ended up being the best job too.

We like using a MM the first opportunity of a trip. When we have saved it for the end, we've been too pooped to use it.
Have an idea where you want to go first in Fantasyland and/or Tomorrowland and have a flexible plan for the hour of MM.

A word of caution.... If you choose Peter Pan as your first ride, don't get run over by a stroller or mowed down by an unruly crowd. It's literally a mad dash to PP first thing.

Have a fun time

Let us know how the interview goes.

Thanks Geemo!

I know that if I am myself and put my best foot forward, I can do it but I regardless I'll be nervous up until the time the interview starts. It's like sports for me, I get really nervous leading up to a game and after the tip(basketball), everything fades away and its just me doing what I love!

That's a good point, I wish it was going to be like that for us, it will probably be our last day of the parks that we use it. I think our schedule is going to be Universal(Oct 17(MHP night), DL on the Sunday, DCA because MHP night, DL w/ MM then GF and I are going to a wildlife sanctuary by San Diego to go swimming with otters. Then home on the 22nd.

Thanks for the words of support again!

Note that, unlike non-EMH mornings, when they let you in for early entry, you go ALL THE WAY in. No ropes at the hub like there are on non-EMH mornings. This was a surprise to us - we expected to get a little breather at the hub ropes before powering on the rest of the way to Peter Pan, but no - it was a fast-walking sprint all the way there.

So the lines for Peter Pan haven't lightened up yet?

peter pan is anomaly , always in the top five favorite, sometimes in the top three and will never lighten up, For me the ride is the best that Disneyland has to offer in all categories of magic, sure there are other rides favored by others, but Peter Pan has fantasy magic not found anywhere else in the park. As a vet visitor, I know of the long lines, so why not expedite that attraction. I am curios to when Winnowill was in the park, the last time I read of a walk in was the day after October dapper days 2014 and photos to prove it, My reading on line is that ropes are the norm

Off topic (sort of) but I really wish Peter Pan had a fast pass option!!

......well, ..it does the first ten minutes..depending on your civility , you can get passed really fast "Wow, that was a fast pass by a stroller".....an option taken by many!!!

This was Tuesday, August 11th. No ropes anywhere at the hub, just a straight dash to PP.

Sometime there are ropes at MM and sometimes there are not. I think the earlier the park opens the less likely it is the ropes will be there. Not sure though. Personally, I don't go on Peter Pan during MM or first thing in the morning unless I can actually get on the ride in about 10 minutes; we usually try, but often skip it. This is because it is real easy to get stuck in a 25-30 minute wait for Peter Pan and waste half your first hour on one ride. In the first hour you can typically bang out all of Fantasyland as the lines are short and so are the rides. Peter Pan, even pre refurb, always has a long line. If I have to wait 30+ minutes for it, then I'd rather wait later in the day when all the lines are longer.

...thank-you, MM just intrigues me with its ropes drops. Have photos of 06,07,08 thanksgiving week trips were we waited at the gate 40 min to enter and the trickle of folks always allowed for castle photo shots with no folks in the background and peter pan twice in 15 mins. The last five years, christmas and spring break, I have had rope drop every morning. If you are at the rope or even standing in the depth, Peter pan is still a 15 min ride, is just that the way the CMS organize that cursh, , it looks long. Of course i am not dragging small visitors or wheelchair folks.
