Magic Morning in Tomorrowland & Rope Drop DCA--Is it possible?

So currently my plan is to use our Magic Morning to hit up Tomorrowland and ride Hyperspace, Star Tours, and Buzz. (We will be doing Fantasyland on another morning at rope drop.) During Magic Morning, I also plan to grab a fastpass using maxpass for RSR. Once we've completed those three rides, the plan is to head over to DCA and ride Toy Story and perhaps a couple of other rides on Pixar Pier and then head over to Carsland to ride Mater's and Luigi's and use our fastpass for RSR (around 9:15/9:30). Does this plan sound doable or is is too ambitious? I'm wondering if we will get stuck in the crowd entering DCA at park opening. Appreciate any advice since we are first timers at DLR!

If I'm reading this correctly, you can't get a maxpass for an attraction in a park that isn't open yet. Actually, I'm not sure Maxpass works at all during Magic Morning.
I think you can do the Tomorrowland attractions during MM for sure. As long as you get to the gate 30-60 minutes before opening. If I were you I would almost plan on hitting the DCA gate just after it's opened so you aren't spending time in line just to be at the back of the crowd anyway. Once DCA opens you can try for a RSR maxpass but it may be later than your estimate. Depending on when you're trip is and the park hours you might find that it's midday before you know it.
What I LOVE about Disneyland is that you can change plans all you want. I would make a list of what Pixar Pier attractions I wanted to hit then once I know when my RSR MP is I can plan when to hit Carsland around that.

Good point about waiting until right after DCA opens. I will plan on that.

I thought you could start booking maxpass as soon as your ticket was scanned even if the park wasn't open yet and that the first available times for DCA would be at 8:30. Am I wrong about that?

You can start booking for DCA as soon as you enter Disneyland. The first time will be for a half hour after DCA opens.

You're able to get Maxpass as soon as you've scanned into the parks even if they're not officially open yet. I would try to stack fastpasses at DCA if possible; start with RSR then see what you can get on Pixar Pier.

It's still an ambitious plan as you're essentially doing 2 rope drops with MM and regular rope drop in DCA, Space has gotten up to 30 min waits durring MM in the past so I'd hit that first then Star Tours with Buzz last. I'd get to DCA about 15-20 mins before opening as Toy Story and incredicoaster should be close to walk on as everyone tries to rope drop carsland and heads to Pixar Pier after.
