I remember discussing that we'd be neighbours back last year sometime. I'm so pleased to hear that your DD is currently in remission. I am too (thanks to Humira/adalimumab) so I hope we both keep going for our cruise!

Apologies that Delaney was listed as an adult. There were a couple of us trying to salvage the original list that was abandoned by the previous owner and evidently some information didn't go across as planned. I have updated all of the lists that were sent out yesterday and I will post a reminder here asking people to check the "live" document that they were sent, periodically, for any updates etc

First, we will be neighbors! We are in 7631 (we may have discussed before)!. Our DD has juvenile arthritis, but is currently in medicated remission (thanks Enbrel!!!!) so hopefully she'll be good to go if we can keep it going one more month!

One thing, we are 2 adults 1 child. Daughter, Delaney is 12 (close to 13).

Just a quick reminder to ask you all to check the "live" FE information you were sent yesterday. This will be updated with any changes along the way. These will only be straightforward changes, such as a cabin number change or if someones name was misspelled. It will be updated right up until the day we sail so please reference it when you need.

Please also note that there was an error and a child was listed as an adult. If @tidefan is on your FE list then their cabin is actually two adults and one 12 year old girl. This has now been updated.

We've ordered a Fe off etsy - I saw it and couldn't resist... Felt a little sad as wasn't making it myself but I don't think I could have done as good a job. Are most people making their hangers by hand?

We got ours from Etsy too although we left it too late to get a personalised one to guarantee shipping from America in time I'm happy with the one we have ordered.

Does anyone know about mobile phone data? When we have travelled to Europe before I've been able to pay a set amount for a certain level of data. Does anyone know if EE/O2 charge extra for if you are at sea?

Thanks for letting us know your room #.
I was going to get my FE off Etsy - but then thought - hey you can do this - OMG wish I would have gotten it off Etsy - still have nightmares about that week-end of sewing that darn thing! It turned out really nice - but it took EVERYONE in my house to help me get the job done! You wouldn't think it would be so hard - must have been me - but I wouldn't do that again if you paid me!!!!!! Then my DD wanted to add a whole bunch of stuff to it (charms / iron on patches/ etc) - I feel like burning the darn thing! I am always worried something will happen to it and I will have to do another one!!!!! Of course getting my DH involved he had to upgrade the thing and change everything - because it was not right - you know how that goes! Then that threw everything else off - back to the store to get different size ribbon = on and on it went - what a nightmare! Once he took over I exited myself out of it until it was done and had to do ALL the iron ons and charms! You did the right thing getting it off of Etsy - wish I would have stuck to that - except it would have cost me a fortune - but after the stress it may have been worth it!!!!!

It's best to check with EE/O2 on their specific arrangement with Norway. I'm with 3 and my data usage/calls/texts are included in my normal monthly package but because Norway isn't in the EU, it changes slightly to say, France. Also, Data at sea is NEVER included. OMG I had a £300 data bill from our summer 2010 cruise around the med. Sea to Shore is always VERY expensive. DCL do have a pretty reasonable onboard wifi package that you can purchase, there are different levels and it's really easy to gauge what you're using on the app. It seems to work great all over the ship too as it was all updated when it went in for a re-fit and overhaul.

Please please be EXTRA careful with data usage. I know SO MANY people who have been stung on this as the law in Europe is grey at best about mobile network charges outside of the UK. It varies between those on monthly contracts and those on pay-as-you-go so your best bet is to call them and ask but remember this will only be for when you're in port/in Norway. Anything at "sea" is off limits and will bleed you dry.
