Hi! We have two tickets that are "Magic Kingdom" tickets, purchased last year. We are now wanting to go to DHS instead. Does anyone know if I can use the MK ticket at DHS, or are we stuck going to MK?

You need to go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations and "upgrade" to a ticket that can be used at DHS/Epcot/DAK.
You might need to upgrade to a current ticket that is valid at all parks.

So the MK ticket is more expensive but it might need to be upgraded to a park hopper?

That particular ticket isn't sold any longer. Yes, the MK one-day cost more than a one-day to the other 3 parks. I see 2 possible options:
1) assuming it has not expired, they may allow you to use it as-is, but no refund of the extra paid
2) or since it is no longer sold, they may require you to "upgrade" to a current one-day ticket. Not necessarily a hopper unless you intend to hop.

Let's hope for option #1.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks! Hoping we can just use it at another park if they let us, but on the downside can't really get FP ahead of time! What a pain, we may just plan for a day at MK.
