Do you think spending an entire day at MK (from opening until evening) and another evening at MK is too much?

I was thinking of changing somethings and do MK the first full day we have(day after arrival) and then later on that week on Saturday head to MK around late afternoon/evening so we can see the SpectroMagic Parade later on that night (or we could do Friday whatever is better). We have a PS for CRT dinner on that day and no other PS available any other day. Could I chance it and walk up to CRT one day and expect to get in?

There is going to be some park on our arrival day (probably around noon) - might be the only time we go to that park. We don't have park hoppers.

It's just the two of us :)

I don't know how many days you have total, but we are planning two FULL days at MK, plus one evening for MNSSHP and another EE morning. Which is almost three full days is you add it all together.

We had four days total in January and we spent one day at each park. We had every intention of doing EE at MK but it was pouring rain that morning so we skipped it. It depends on how old your kids are and what you are interested in seeing and doing.

We all agreed MK was our favorite park, then MGM. We thought Epcot and AK were fine, but we would probably be happy with one day each at those. To be fair, the weather was bad for our AK and Epcot days, so maybe we would like them more in good weather.

In a 7-8 day vacation we will spend about 2 1/2 days in MK. Spectro is really cool and I would not want to miss it! Sat will most likely be a really busy day for MK, especially if that is the only time Spectro will be available, so lines will be longer. ( I personally am a big believer in hopping for this very reason. We will spend most of the day in another park and hop over just for the parade. ) Since that is not possible, plan to do some of the attractions that hold bigger crowds or load faster on your Spectro day and see the headliners on the first day. :teeth:

My DH & I do not have children and we do spend a lot of time in the MK. Especially because Spectro doesn't run every nite. For instance...our last trip we were in by 9am and left at 4pm (Thurs). ANd then went back in to the MK on Sunday nite to see Spectro & Wishes.

We have been to WDW over a dozen times so we know what we want to do & see. If you have children...especially small children...2 days may be necessary.

About CRT...we tried to do a walk up just last week....nothing available. That sells out very fast. DO not expect to walk up....keep you PS.

We don't have children either. We have a dinner PS - couldn't get lunch or we'd do what you guys did - go and leave late afternoon. I'm thinking of going and leaving after dinner so we can rest. Then another day head back in the evening. Thanks for the tip about the PS. It's really strange with PS's .. well first I slacked and didn't call until about 30-40 days out.. nothing for CRT available... Then I called a few days later and a couple different times were available even a late lunch but I don't remember why I chose the dinner... then a week later I really wanted lunch again and it was gone, but I had my dinner time. I can't remember why I didn't take the lunch..I think it had something to do with we originally planned MK in the evening that day but now it's during the day. Go figure me and my plans
