Magic Kingdom Opening Show

Can anyone confirm at what time the opening show in front of the castle is scheduled at Magic Kingdom? I seem to remember it being 10 minutes prior to rope drop, but not sure. The old welcome show used to play around 8:40 for a 9 am opening, but am I right that the one in front of the castle would only start at 8:50 am?

8:55a for the show when MK opens at 9:00.

Starts only about 5 minutes prior and the countdown opens the park right at official park opening.

What about with morning EMH? Do they do the show before magic hours or before it opens to everyone.
Going on NYE and I want to see it! Not staying on property that night.

The Welcome Show always begins 5 minutes before regular park opening.

EMH guests have to return to the Hub at that time if they want to watch the show.

Normally it’s 5 minutes before regular park opening. (ETA: Opps, didn’t see the previous reply before I hit post!)
