I've searched as best I can but I can't find dates or a timeline. Does anyone know how long the moat will be drained?

Is it odd that none of the tour/advice web sites list this in their Reno/Rehab calendars? This seems like a pretty big deal to me, especially aesthetically & if it's going to last a while.

it's pretty new news and hasn't been officially confirmed yet. A lot of the info on the moat has been gotten through WDWmagic.com they said the moat was supposed to be drained this week have not heard anything for sure on that tho. I would check out that website especially the moat forum they have a lot of good info on there.

I think Disney would be pushing for a quick job given the location. There is also nothing really being built here. What they will need to do is basically put in more drainage for storms, fill with dirt, and then landscape. Granted there is more to it, but this isn't going to be like building a ride. This is no different that what my parents did when they filled in their 50 old pool.

I just posted some info on the theme park attraction thread about a MK Hub rehab from WDWMAGIC.com that might be connected to the moat draining...
