Cost is $17.99 for 10 and over, $9.99 for guests 3-9. Reservations are not required but seating is limited. Space permitting, There may be seating available for walk-ups. Currently the Dining plan is not accepted. Prepayment is required. Reservations will open June 22, 2009.

If we were not doing DDP & 7 night cruise its something I might consider but maybe too much food this trip.

Am planning to phone monday to book this for the day we arrive, thought it will be a nice birthday treat to myself, as i am going to be there watching wishes anyway. and ok $17.99 is probably more than i would spend on dessert normally:lmao:but will be fun to experience this.

Have a feeling that from the terrace it is a partially obstructed view of the castle though, sure there are trees in the way. we will see. will be interesting to read first reports of this;)

our wedding dessert party in epcot was great, I too will be calling to get it for the 28th aug as a surprise for our anniversary

Hmm will be interested to see if this is any good, sadly we are going in October also

I'm guessing that if this is a success it might be extended permanently. I'm surprised something similar has never been offered at Epcot (other than as part of a wedding package or Grand Gathering).

I hope that they do - it sounds like my idea of heaven! :cloud9:

I was looking a booking this at Disneyland California, it's the Fantasmic Dessert buffet but at $59 it seems a bit steep now compared to the $17.99 at MK

It's true that there is quite a large price disparity. However, the two do not sound comparable. The Disneyland California Premium Dessert Seating allows you to sit down in comfort and enjoy a good view of Fantasmic - something which isn't really possible without it. It's easy to get a good view of Wishes without staking out your spot hours in advance, but getting a decent view of Fantasmic at Disneyland is difficult and requires you "reserving" a spot hours in advance if you want a decent view. Hence, the Premium Seating is a great way to avoid this. I'd recommend it; it's a wonderful VIP experience..

Oooh that sounds lovely :woohoo: I think I will book this

sounds like a fab place to hold 'dis meets':thumbsup2

It would but our dates don't fall well for a meet with you. We go on cruise day after you arrive 22nd-29th August, they are only doing the buffet upto 28th August.
We will be in MK on 30th August(our last day) if anyone wants to say Hi.

Wayne, I think we might be going to MK for EMH's & would love to be able to thank you personally for all your help.

This looks lovely i really do hope they extend it :)
