Magic Kingdom Fast Pass advice

We're going in early February, bringing our 4yo daughter (first time bringing a child to DW.)

We plan to do Fantasyland early, and Frontierland in the afternoon. Since we will be doing Frontierland later, I was thinking of doing a Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain.

But we definitely want to hit Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan first thing in the AM. Does anyone have any advice on where we should "run" for Mine Train at park opening, and then do a Fast Pass for Peter Pan? Or vice versa? Or will it not matter in early Feb? I've only done Disney World in the summer when it's crowded. Also, I haven't been to Disney since they updated the Fast Pass system. TIA!

I'd recommend getting a fast pass for 7dmt. At park opening head for Peter pan and ride that standby. The queue for Peter pan is like a ride in itself that you'll miss if you FP it.

7dmt is where majority of people will be heading, followed by PP.

You also might consider a Pre Park Opening reservation at Be Our Guest. Regardless of your reservation time (before park opening) you'll be allowed in at 8am. By the time you're done with breakfast you should be able to ride 7dmt and pp before the masses get past the Castle.

PP folks will line up on the left side of the hub and either go up around by Sleepy Hollow or possibly through the castle depending how quickly it's open.

Don't line up on the right side that goes towards the teacups. All of those people will be headed towards 7D.

I like the idea of rope drop PP to experience the queue and then FP 7D, BTMRR and SM. If you don't mind criss crossing a little, you can easily knock those out and then have a 4th and 5th for Mansion, Jungle Cruise, PotC etc.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think we will do PPF at rope drop. Speaking of fast passes, if we are at AK at rope drop does anyone know if it would be worth it to go straight to Pandora to do NRJ and then get a FP for FoP? I'd love to knock out both rides in one trip to AK without waiting for hours, if possible.

This is what I would do, I think this is the only way to get both in and I think FP FOP is the better one ( normally longer line) I would try to get this FP first as soon as you FP day opens to book ( 7AM EST) and if it is latter in your trip the better for you. ( I would even grab any FP you can even if it is at 5pm) and still RD the river ride, and just walk back for your FP latter.

You can RD AK and ride both Pandora rides with little to no wait. Then FP+ is available for a second FOP ride (yes it's that good) or EE, Safari and whatever else you are interested in.

Just be at the bag check one hour before open.
