MK has been open till midnight all week and till 3am with the EMH. We were able to do the whole park during that time. It was empty. 5 min waits on everything, it really was worth it. I never knew MK stayed open that late. Buses ran until 4:30am.

That's really good to know...I've been to EMH several times, but never to any that went into the wee hours. We'll give it a try in August... :goodvibes

I am looking forward to trying out the Midnight-3:00 a.m. EMH at MK this Sunday! I'm glad to hear that it wasn't crowded for you. We are going to AK Sunday morning, then going to our resort Sunday afternoon for a long nap, then plan to head to MK in time for SpectroMagic and Wishes.

I can see how 12am - 3am wouldn't be crowded . . .I'm sure not that many with young ones would be out that late . . .in fact, I'm not sure I'd even make it out that late . . . :rotfl2:

How are the day time crowds?

The mornings have been great but by noon - 1pm, the parks have been packed. The E-Ticket rides have gotten large queues quickly. We went on RnR and by the time we got out, it was already a 40 min wait.

Just got back at 1:00 a.m. this morning. We were at WDW from Fri., 4/14 through Fri., 4/21. the parks were crowded but very doable. We were at MK twice till around midnight, including our last night, Thursday. Saw the 11:00 SpectroMagic parade and had no trouble getting a good spot. We were in Frontier land, and it was only 1 person deep, but my daughter and I walked over from Space Mountain to where my husband and son were waiting and passed the castle, and there were tons of spots there, too, even at 10:45. Could walk right on to most things. It was great. We really had little trouble all week, especially with the careful use of fastpasses. The only place we kind of fled because of the crowds was AK. It was difficult to get around because of the combo of the layout and crowds, and the FP time was too long on the rapids ride, so we bagged it and went swimming at the hotel. Kids weren't too disappointed, and neither were we. I was really expecting the worst in terms of crowds, and was very pleasantly surprised to find we could do everything we wanted with minimal hassle and a little planning.

Too bad for us that the kids ran out of gas at 10 pm.. It's tough dragging around a 7 year old that just wants to go to sleep!!
