Magic Kingdom Early Reservation

Curious on people's recent experience with early reservations to Crystal Palace specifically at Magic Kingdom. According to Easywdw (http://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/ma...rategy-and-expanded-breakfast-options-review/), it looks like they are opening the gates to guests well before a 9AM opening on onto Main Street. So, if you have an early reservation for Crystal Palace at 8AM, you would just be let in with everyone else (around 7:50am?) and not have a mostly empty walk down Main Street as was in the past, is this still correct?

Yes, this change happened earlier this year. They allow guests with 8am reservation in around 7:45am, followed by everyone else around 7:50am to 8am. Main Street is open for everyone but they hold everyone by the bridges to each land.
