Magic Kingdom 9pm Closing President’s Week on a Friday (2/22)?! Really?!?

I was just checking park hours and noticed a 9pm closing on a Friday night during President’s Week. There’s no AD party and next Friday closes at 10, along with most other week nights. Isn’t that strange, especially this close to the date, to not have changed to a later time? 10, or 11pm even for a vacation week?

I'm looking at the calendar here on the DIS and I only see an 8pm closing for MK President's week.

I’m also surprised they haven’t extended hours for that week or the next one

It has morning EMH that day, so you could have up to 13 hours 8am-9pm if you're staying on property (or at a DS hotel).

I remember the olden days when the park would close at 6:00pm "off-season"! (But I also remember having the place to ourselves and everything being a walk-on, so it's not quite the same thing.)

President's Day Weekend

Magic Kingdom open till 10 Friday the 15th
11 Saturday the 16th
11 Sunday the 17th
10 Monday the 18th (President's Day).

I believe the next weekend is not nearly as busy.

I hope it will be less busy, but the various crowd calendars are making me nervous
