Magic Key Charter Member Perks are? ...

Hi all! I'm reading the email from Disney regarding Magic Key. I already bought a magic key online, but i am wondering what the things are that expire Oct 30th. Anything I need to be in person to experience? Please spill any beans you can -- ha, what a phrase

I’m guessing that if I buy my pass (errm… key) before Oct 30, but do not activate it until November 1, that I am not technically a charter member and do not receive any welcome gifts.

Any one know for sure? And if I were to try to activate before Oct 30… how does one receive these welcome gifts?

I think it is just that you would not get the welcome package if you don't buy by the 30th and also they claim the lounge will close but I would bet money it will switch to a xmas theme. I am thinking it is here to stay but who knows

I particularly enjoyed the Mr. Toad PhotoPass for Magic Key. Not sure when it expires -- but that photographer was awesome and I have several shots from the experience beyond the "magic shot" with Mr. Toad added digitally. Win!!

The Starcade currently has some backgrounds that you can take pictures with. Basically walls decorated for Magic Key, Haunted Mansion and Halloween. Mickey and Minnie appear there in Halloween costumes that are not seen elsewhere in the park but they are not there every day. The space also has a few couches and cell phone charging stations.

On weekends, the Starcade gets quite full and you may have to register on a waitlist to get in. On weekdays, you may be able to just walk right in.

Has anyone actually gotten the “welcome package”? I purchased the Believe key a day or two after they dropped, used it for my 3-day trip in September, and haven’t received anything.
