Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

weeks to go to the Magic. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I just LOVE this part of my weekend! My 11year dd and I look every Saturday for the countdown! Even if we haven't had time to get on here, we check for this! 33 sounds so much lower than the 40's, 50's, 60's...

Thanks Dan!:yay:

awww.....I hope we see anyone on the first day!!!
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

If you hang out on deck 9 around the pools on embarkation day you will see characters wandering around. We had Chip and Dale on the last cruise who stopped for pics and play with the kids.

:lovestrucCan I just say this 'newbie' is loving these pictures! My 11dd is too! And I keep jotting all these notes down..ie: where to be for embarkation, best foods, best room service, best hotels, everything! So if you have any "Don't miss" for the 7 night eastern...let me know. I 'heard' you could order the mickey bars for room service...still true? And I 'heard' that you could preorder coffee the night before every night? Things like that!
I learned in '93 (our first trip to the WDW) that I had missed so many things, that after that, I started sleuthing. Needless to say, after almost 20 years now going almost annually, we feel like we're veterans and I spend alot of time helping my friends new to the world. So please keep passing along your favorite tips!
Oh, and the one thing great about all these pictures? I'm hoping by cruise start, I'll be able to pass by some of you and know your names already!

A-n-d HOPE all your weeks ahead are great!:goodvibes

I have tried to post some pictures but I am not having much luck:confused3
how do I put some on?

To post pictures you first have to upload them to one of the photo sites like photobucket.com. Then you copy an IMG link from the photo site into your reply here and the picture will then appear.

Hey, where do you have to be to get those streamer things for the sail away party? We never got any all the times we went :sad2: My parents found 2 somewhere that somebody abandoned but other than that, we've had no luck.

We have received them from CMs as they were handing them out right as you exit the midship elevator/stairs onto deck 9 right next to the gazebos.

We found you have to get there early to get them. We would normally arrive about 10 minutes before the party and they were already done handing them out. 15 minutes seems to be the magice time I've found.

Kinda quiet here :rolleyes1 Here is a pic of the Magic tendered off of Grand Cayman

Love this one too! Makes me want to get on the ship NOW!:cloud9:

Ok..got a few minutes and a couple of questions popped into this multi tasking mind...

1. Read where they are giving you the time to check in now. Is that an absolute? What is you were planning on dropping off your rental at 10am?
If you don't get your check in time at the port until 75 days, what time do you put to drop off your rental when I book the car?

2. Do or did any of you use TA's? If so, do you request your dining rotation? Again, read on here that you could do so. Was thinking:idea: I might like the PLA rotation (know it's not a guarantee) due to the formal night being on Sun and I thought it'd be fun to do 'formal' in the more formal dining area...any thoughts you veterans? Or do you just do it all by chance?

Ok., since it was so quiet...thought I'd throw these out here! Thanks..

Good afternoon everybody:thumbsup2

I'm up among the living again. Been a PIA week at work. Today is my day off and fortunately it is shaping up to be a little warmer than it was forecasted. But still not as warm as the other day when we got up to 75:love:

Madalyn: Answered your TA question on FB. Not allowed to answer the first part here:rolleyes1 As for rotations: I've never requested any specific rotation. Wherever they send us first is fine. Last time we had the APL rotation and that was just fine. I don't think we'll request any specific rotation this time around either.

Now for my own question. This is also for the veterans more seasoned than myself.

What is your favorite couple's activity to do on the Magic excluding the Spa Villas and anything alcoholic as we don't really drink? :wizard:

Hope everyone has a great day. Be back later

Other than the obvious one?:rolleyes1:rotfl2: I would be interested in this also since it is just DH and myself. LOL

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Yeah, other than THAT 1:goodvibes

Since we're booked on a cruise where we might actually make it outside our stateroom I thought it might be handy info to have:idea:

We love the Brunch at Palo. As you can see by the pics I posted earlier it is to die for.

I was wondering about the Rainforest room or whatever it is called to try for a day or a 3 day pass or something. Can't you and your spouse do that together? I know the changing rooms etc are gender specific but what about the saunas and such?

Yeah, we did the rainforest room on our last trip. It can definitely be done as a couple, but you are sharing the room with a number of other people as well so its not just a "2 of you" kind of thing. It is very nice though. Beautiful room.

Its been 1 of those weeks at work:sad2: So I am late in updating the standings for our posting game.

Current Standings in ascending order:

MintJulep: 1 pirate:
Bethshaya: 1 pirate:
Octoberbride03: 2 :bride: 1 pirate:
TIGGER/POOH4: 2 :bride: 2 pirate:

CURRENT LEADER:

KellyJeanDVC: 4 :bride: 3 pirate::woohoo::yay:

Plenty of to swoop in and send KellyJean off the plank :rolleyes1

At the beginning of this game I mentioned that prizes would go to the winners of the game. 1 prize for the most :bride; and 1 for the most pirate:

So would anybody be willing to donate and award the prizes at our DISMeet on embarkation day?

Prizes do not have to be big or expensive.

Thanks for posting a playing along. I know I am enjoying the game and I hope everybody else is too.:thumbsup2 Less than 50 posts to go till our next update :wizard:

TMI:rotfl: ;) In my honest opinion anything you do as 'just a couple' would have to be nice!

And Maureen, thanks for the FB answer!

Y'all are tooo funny!popcorn::
