I think I'd still get up to do the online check-in to grab my arrival time. And you never know, you might get lucky on your wishes.

Please note that the online check-in has been open later in the night reportly at 3am Eastern. I know it was not available for me a midnight but was at 7am the next morning.

You can still book excursions/Palo though at 12:01 so my advice to everybody is to go do that and then go back to bed
No more Palo brunch?! Oh well, guess this means I HAVE to take another Disney cruise

Not exactly. Just means that all the online ressies have been taken. DCL holds back back many ressies until boarding day. I would go to Rockin Bar D once you board the ship and request a ressie. If you are early enough odds are good you can still score a brunch ressie. Even if not then just ask to be put on the waitlist and if anyone cancels you will get a call from Palo. Good luck.

This is what Rich and i wound up doing on our last cruise. Can't remember what time we got on the ship, but we headed to the bar after lunch and put our name down on the waitlist for both. We got a call for dinner hte next day, and a call for brunch a couple days later. So I think either way you should wind up getting Palo, but not necessarily on the day you were hoping for.
