Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

I always did find it interesting that on a ship with 2.400 fellow cruisers that you can run into the same people all the time. Not that we minded since the Magic in Paradise crew are a bunch of awesome cruisers.

So true. Our Magic in Paradise group is really great. I hope we cruise again soon with everyone.

I have no clue. All I can tell you is we were at table 67 next to the center asile. We were there for semi formal night if that helps.

That is tooo funny Alan!! That HAD to be you..., we were at table 66, 7 of us! Did you have PLA rotation? If so, on formal night, Sunday night, they all sang to the parents for their 50th Anniversary. Does your wife have pretty long dark hair? Too funny!

Yes that is the rotation we had. Was your server Shontol? My wife has long hair but I never thought of it as dark but it is not light. Just somewhere in the middle.

So funny Alan! I thought that 'may' be you..but was too timid to come up and introduce myself on a whim, in case it WAS'NT you! I had already done it to a lady with the same 'Paradise' Tshirts that our meet had ordered, and she said "Nope, I don't know any of you guys". So after that one? I sure wasn't gonna do it again! Well...hope you enjoyed every minute of it!

Ps... No, our servers were Nikolai and Raquel and they didn't 'cross' the aisle, all their tables were right behind us or beside us. I think your table was 'across an opening' (main walkway)from us.

In the 10 DCL cruises that was by far the worst seas we have ever been in. Oh well you can't control the weather. If you had a pic that may have us I could confirm for you weather or not that was us.

So sorry your dw was sick! I had heard that this was one of the roughest cruises EVER, that on the first night, half of the diners walked in and then retreated before ever even eating! And I heard that many, many veterans had trouble, and yet us newbies made it fine. Too weird. Seasickness is not discriminate I'm afraid! We even heard there were many people in the infirmary.. So glad the sun shined on Monday!

I just wanted to pop in and say a big to everyone who left us FE gifts! They were so creative!! DH & I enjoyed meeting everyone! Despite the rocky start to our cruise, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our excursions. I would definitely sail this itinerary again.

We booked the Pacific Coast cruise for Oct. 2012 and might possibly be adding the Mexican Riviera in April 2012. Needless to say, we LOVE sailing with DCL!!

Alan, I know you offered this up to Josh. But we are thinking of going to Disneyland, Legoland in April next year. I haven't been to Disneyland in decades and know little to nothing about it. Would love your advice, hints and tips.

My best friend came home from DL the day we set sail. Whatever they did out there with the California Adventure was a huge hit with them. Haven't had time to chat with her but she thinks DL is now her favorite park.

I will do that Linda. Going to try and get with her later this week. She's seen the CA Adventure park in its original incarnation too and was not impressed then, so the favorite park news is big coming from her.
