Magic Hours?

Could anyone please answer this question.
When you stay at a Disney resort you are allowed to stay LATE at certain parks on certain days>>>>>>>How do they do that ?do they check everyones passes or close the park completely before letting the elite in.

1. Yes, if you are a Disney resort guest have a perk called Extra Magic Hours. That means on certain days, one park will be open either one hour earlier in the morning or three hours later in the evening.

2. Your room key is your key to EMH. In the morning, they will check your room key before letting you in the park. For evening EMH, you pick up wristbands by showing your room key. When you want to ride the rides, you show your wristband that identifies you as a resort guest.

3. They close the park at the published time which means non-resort guests cannot enter the park, but any non-resort guests that are already inside the park can linger a bit and go shopping but they can't ride any rides.
