Magic Hours at Disney parks

Hi

We are thinking about booking a couple of days at the Disney Polynesian Resort and whilst we are there, using the Magic Hours for extra time in the parks.

On the day you check-out, are you only able to take advantage of the morning Magic Hours on that day, or do they also allow you to use the late Magic Hours as well, as I assume you would have had to hand your room keys in earlier in the day?

Thanks for any advice!

Cliff

You don't have to hand in your room key. You get to keep it as often people add park tickets onto their room key for longer than they are staying at a Disney hotel and obviously need to take their KTTW card with for park access.

Your privileges for EMH last until midnight on your check out day so as long as you ENTER a park before midnight after you have checked out, you are good to enjoy it.

BTW, the Poly is my dream resort. One day :cloud9:

In fact everything associated with your stay remains active till midnight of the day you check out including room charge privileges, dining plan credits, EMH, resort pool, free parking - all are still good to use :)

Thanks for the replies.

I didn't realise it would only be until midnight on the day of departure. The day we are probably going to check out it is EMH at MK until 1 am. So does that mean we could only get on the rides up until midnight?

It would be a very pedantic CM to refuse you entry after midnight to a ride and I don't think they'll do it as 2 hours in all non-resort guests are normally bored and gone home by then so they relax a bit and obviously the EMH time began when it was still valid.

Perhaps double check with Guest Services as you enter the park though? They could advise or maybe give even give you something you could show the CM if needed.

I think you'll be absolutely fine until the end of that day.

TBH when I've been to PM EMH they just check you have a KTTW, and never checked dates on ours.

You've paid to get into the prk that day, and to stay at a WDW for part of that day, so I think they'd count 1am as the evening of the previous day rather than the morning of the next day if that makes sense.

No, the only time you would have a problem is if you were trying to ENTER the park on your card after midnight, which I am sure you won't do if it is only open until 1 am. As others have said, they don't check anything else. You flash your cards and you're good to ride. Once you're in the park you will be fine. Have fun. We love the MK EMH

We did exactly the same thing last March when we moved from CSR to an offsite condo. The EMH on our check-out day was MK and it was a 1am closing then if I remember correctly. We actually asked upon check-out if it would be ok for us to attend and the CM confimed that there would be no problems doing so and sure enough, there wasn't and we had a great time! We also didn't have to pay for parking which was great also. :thumbsup2
