Magic Happens Parade - no Plaza Inn Dining Package after Aug 27th?

Wondrous Journeys ends on Thursday, August 31. Halloween Time begins on Friday September 1, 2023 and Halloween Screams will likely start on September 1st.

I had my days off then. I knew it ended Thursdays and Halloween screams starts Friday.

What happens during the first part of November- after Halloween but before Christmas begins (I believe that's 11/11)? I'd love for them to show Wonderous Journeys during that time...but I'm guessing I'm out of luck.

I haven't seen a parade at Disneyland in over 5 years and It's not fair
I really hope this isn't true, I'll be there Sept 3-8 and needs me a parade!!

I am too busy freaking out about OBB tickets to have room for more freaking out, but I too am super bummed there isn't a daytime parade in September. Is there an evening one? I thought there was something with Jack during Halloween season at DL. Maybe that is fireworks related? Is there a special dining package for viewing that?

I wouldn’t freak out just yet - the entertainment calendar for all entertainment isn’t currently showing past August 21.

Agree, it’s ludicrous to remove a day parade that’s only been back for half a year because you have a special event one in a different park

At least Disneyland has anything Halloween outside a paywall
I’m a WDW regular and it’s either $ for the Halloween party or a subpar character buffet if you want to see the characters dressed up

Agreed, but it's been SOP for a few years now. Maybe they want to give a cooling off period between "regular season" and Christmas.

Mix Magic ran from 11/1 through 11/10 last year. The Christmas parade and Believe fireworks started 11/11.

People probably already know but magic happens will be running during Halloweentime. It’s on the entertainment calendar twice daily through the last date current showing, 9/9.

Entertainment schedule has populated the nighttime shows after Aug 27th at this time, both Fireworks and Parades. However, the special dining packages for either are still not available for that last week of August as of this morning (july 31). Just seems odd. I will keep checking.

Ok - I think they will not be doing the packages for the last week of Aug (28-31) at this point as they are transitioning to Halloween packages as of Sept 1 (both Plaza Inn and Tomorrowland Terrace). Times become available as of Sept 1. Oh well. at least the parade/fireworks are in fact happening, just not the special seating packages.

I don’t think the seating packages are actually worth it. You can usually get decent parade and firework spots in the 30 minutes leading up to showtime.
