Does anyone know if the curent parade ends by Aug 27th? There are no times for Plaza Inn Dining package for the parade seating Aug 28th and later (plenty the week prior). Curiously, the same issue for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dining. I can't find anything that notes something happening that week (its usually a slow-ish week - before the Halloween transition).

I'm hoping it's just their reservation system is not working properly in releasing these "event" type reservations. Got a WOC dessert party and all my other regular dining reservations for that week no problem. Just odd - trying to figure out if I'm missing something.

Interesting. I believe last year they did not have a parade during the Halloween season so that might make sense for no parade viewing, but that wouldn't explain Tomorrowland Terrace. Maybe that will be an off week before Halloween Screams starts.

It has to be due to Halloween time at Disneyland.

The Electric Parade ended on Sept 1 last year as did the Disneyland Forever firework show. On Sept 2 Halloween Screams began.

So more than likely you will see Wondrous Journeys and Magic Happens ending around that time this year.

I think the parade ends on Sunday, August 27th. There is normally no parade during Halloween Time which starts on Friday, September 1st. The Tomorrowland Terrace seating/dining/viewing experience I think can be a seasonal thing and I think during Halloween Time it ends.

I know the Christmas Fantasy Parade runs from early November to early January and the Plaza Inn has dining packages/parade viewing area.

Normally an DL afternoon parade returns after Holiday Time. The timing ⏱️ in January I am uncertain.

During the Lunar New Year Celebration, DCA has the Mulan Processional.

Yeah, that what I figured. We're considering an early January visit and I'm wondering if we might get to catch the parade.

So there is no parade at all in September? Just curious as we are closing in our date to make food reservations. I guess that is one less thing to stress about. Do they do WOC dessert party on non OBB days?

Yes WOC Dessert party on non OBB days. There is usually no parade or Tomorrowland Terrace dinner/viewing experience in September. Check the offerings when you make your reservations. As of September 6th, there is no Plaza Inn Dining parade package or TT package.

That’s not usually the case. The daytime parade usually runs during halloweentime. The only time it didn’t recently was in 2019 when they were prepping for magic happens. And we had no regular daytime parade until now since the 2020 park closures.

Ok. Then why are there no plaza inn dining packages for the parade after August 27th?
Is it a scheduling thing? Perhaps there will be a parade and dining packages once the schedule for those dates is released. Today's calendar goes out to August 19. I was able to book my Plaza Inn Parade package in August in early June and the calendar was not posted yet. Stay tuned. Please keep checking the calendar and dining availability daily.

I think they have not had a daily parade in Disneyland park during the Halloween season since PtN was over at DL.

I recall PtN being there in 2015 during Halloween, but think it moved over to DCA in 2016. They stopped the Mainstreet Electrical parade before Halloween during its limited run in 2017, too.

Mickey's Soundsational Parade also ceased daily showings during Halloween. https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Mickey's_Soundsational_Parade.

I remember my August 2017 trip. I did the Blue Bayou package for the viewing for Main Street Electricial Parade in mid August. A family member went in mid September and there was no Main Street Electricial Parade and no daytime parade at all. She went to the Halloween Party which I think was still in Disneyland then. NOt sure on that though.

Yeah, I think OBB (and the move to DCA) was in 2019 because of the opening of Star Wars Land, at least that was the rumor on why it moved. I still kind of miss Mickey's Halloween Party being in Disneyland, even though Villain's Grove is pretty awesome.

Yes that’s right. I just texted and she said the Halloween 🎃 party was at Disneyland and there was no daytime parade and just the Halloween parade during the party,

We went the exact time last year and we saw the Electrical Parade and fireworks that last week of August. With nothing else going on in DL (and halloween stuff not starting until later), its a shame they won't run any evening entertainment. Going to keep checking to see if something comes up.

I think Disneyland's summer season ends on Sunday August 27th but it usually ends on August 31st. Not sure why there is no evening entertainment from Monday August 28th through Friday August 31st.

There should be wondrous journeys through 8/30 and then on 8/31 it will switch to Halloween screams.
