Magic express to riverside to chef mickeys

We will be getting to Orlando MCO airport at 11:07 AM and are planning on taking the magical express to our resort at Port Orleans Riverside. Right now we have a reservation for Chef Mickey’s at 2:35. Would that give us enough time to get from the airport to our resort and then to Chef Mickey’s?

I would think so. You should be at Riverside by 1, that gives you at least an hour leeway before needing to head to CR. How are you getting to CR? I'm assuming taxi/uber/lyft/minivan, not bus transportation.

Thanks for your reply! I was actually thinking by bus. Would that not work? This will be our first time at Disney so im a bit clueless.

If your plane isn’t late and you drop your bags quickly at Riverside and catch the bus to MK, you will have a ten minute walk from MK to The Contemporary. You could just make it if everything goes well.

The good thing is if you are running behind for some reason, you could always decide to change to private transportation at any point.

OP, Rule of thumb for WDW Transportation:

• MCO to WDW Resorts, 60-90 minutes from landing if you go straight to DME. Bus may wait to fill up and the usually go to multiple resorts.
• Resort to Park via bus: Plan 30-45 minutes mostly due to potential waits for buses. Buses should be about every 20 minutes, but I have had slightly longer waits at times
• Park to Resort via bus: See Resort to Park info

Most people plan their first ADR, FP+, etc ... for at least 3 hours after landing unless it is at the resort they are stayyor the park is within walking distance.

I rarely rely solely on WDW buses to make a resort to resort ADR unless I have a time to waste. For a POR to CR, I would normally do the bus to MK and walk to CR. If you find yourself at the POR bus stop and the next MK bus is not there by 1:50, I would get a car service directly to CR.

FYI: if you go the bus route to MK first, you have to allow time for security after you get off the bus before walking to CR.
