I'm not much on trip reports, reading or writing . . .
But here goes . . .
We had a fantastic time on our cruise. We met some great people, and developed wonderful friendships that I hope we can keep for a long time to come. We laughed. We cried. We got frustrated, and we were pleasantly surprised. Some things got on our nerves, but then we realized that nothing is perfect when we reflected on it. We forgave the minor gaffes, and made sure that if there were major ones we talked to someone about it. I will not bore you with the minutia.
The overall experience was fun and pleasant, and the important things were that we got to reconnect as a family without the outside world intruding, and we found out that perfect strangers can be as kind and wonderful as someone you may have known for years. We choose to remember those rather than the things that annoyed or distracted us. Life is too short. If I can help you with any tips, please let me know, but I won't make you sort through a long report to sift out those details.
They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words though, so rather than 12,000 words, here are 12 pictures!
Our Next cruise can't come too soon and we hope to repeat the experience!"
No more to "be continued" - enjoy!
