Magic Bands Shipped to Canada??

i just received an email this morning from Disney saying that my Magic Band order has been shipped.

This is very strange as in the past I have always received it when I checked into the resort.

I have emailed my TA and plan on calling Disney tonight after work.

Just thought I would pop in here to see if anyone else has ever received such an email.

I haven't heard of this but when I used a TS I had to change the mailing address to mine as it was listed as theirs in the US. But perhaps they just mean shipped to the resort?

I think it's shipped to resort. I remember seeing that also. Disney definitely doesn't ship them to Canada for free!

Yeah it just means shipped to your resort. I wish they'd mail the MB to Canada!

Check you address. It might have been changed to your TA address when they did the reservation.

I used a TA this time as well and I had to make sure to change my address in the modify your magic band section of the app. It was listed as the TA's address in NJ and I didn't want them shipped to them. My trip is in 6 days and I did not get an email saying they had been shipped at any time so perhaps they were sent to your TA.

Upon checking the address listed in MDE it has my home address.

I sent my TA the email and she is going to follow up on it for me.

This is my 4th trip now with magic Bands and this is the first time I have ever received an email telling me they have been shipped.

So weird.

Hey Neighbor!

Yes, me and my younger daughter (15) are going again! Oldest is in her final year of HS (IB) and doesn’t want to miss any school whatsoever!

No pre trip report although I am toying with the idea of a TR after.

Will see how much time I have!

Super weird! When we bought ours they would not ship to Canada, we had to have them shipped to our uncle's place in Arizona.

Mystery solved!!

I went on USPS and put in the tracking number and apparently they are being shipped to my TA in New Jersey. I emailed her and she confirmed that she would express ship them to the resort for me.

Phew!

Panic subsiding.

They wont ship to Canada because they have a transmitter inside them and Canada customs would hold them up..
I'll be there a week tomorrow and haven't received word ours have shipped to our resort. We're on a CM discount but that shouldn't affect delivery

I’m happy with it being ready and waiting at resort one less thing for me to worry about forgetting ..
