Magic Bands on arrival day at resort & parks.

First time staying on site in January. Arriving early in the morning at AS Movies, & then heading to parks. Not figuring on our room being ready but do we go to the front desk to get our magic bands & are then free to head to the parks?

Canadian resident, so the bands will not be shipped.

Followup question, doing 1 night at Movies & then heading to Port Orleans. Same magic bands will be used?

You are entitled to two bands, one for each resort reservation. You can decline the second one and just ask that the first band be used. They will scan your current band to attach to the new resort room so it operates your door locks, so have everyone's band with you at check in for POR.

You can do the checkin process at the front desk at any time after 6am. That’s about when the hotel “day” switches to the current calendar day. And that’s when you can get the mb.
