Magic Bands for non linked Ressie

I figured this is the best place to ask this question. I have 4 nights reserved in March. First and last night are non-hospitality house OKW and the middle two days are hospitality house bookings. When I went into MDE to get my Magic Band colors customized it made me do 3 separate entries. Does this mean they'll send me Magic Bands for each booking or will it just be one band?

I have the first and last day waitlisted but not counting on that. Unfortunately I can't link the reservations due to the booking category. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Unless you have the option to decline some of them, you will get one set of MagicBands for each separate room reservation.

I can decline them but how will my reservations get put on the single band if they're not linked? I've never had to worry about this in the past because I would have called 11 months in advance and have just one reservation. Thanks!!!

Nothing is stored on the actual MagicBands. They, along with your reservations, tickets, etc. are linked to your My Disney Experience (MDE) account. The MagicBand just points to your information stored in MDE. Any (and all) MagicBand linked to your MDE account can be used for any reservation and/or tickets that's also linked to the same account.

You can reject any two of the three magic band sets and be fine. You can reject all of them if you still have prior magic bands that are shown as active in your magic band section of MDE and plan to use those. As noted, the magic band is simply a communicator with your MDE account while at WDW.

You don't even have to get any new MB's if you already have some. They are the larger one's now with the removable puck in the center though so different than the old, but so far none of the accessories have hit the stores that let you place the puck into a different thing like a key fob.

The band is linked to a person, and that person is linked to a reservation. Any and all of the bands with your name on them will work interchangeably.

Drusba is absolutely right. You can decline the magic bands, or you can get just one set.

Or you can do like I do and get them all. I am making a chain out of my magic bands from previous trips that will one day stretch across the room!

This is weird because that is also what I have been doing with the prior bands.

I end up with everyone's bands after a trip and thus have accumulated many of all colors. Someday, someone else in the house may force me to do something with the bands that are overcoming my study. I actually have a circle shaped more like a strange circle, bulging all over, of a number of them hanging on the wall now.
