I read all through the info on here but I just don't understand one thing. When I log in, it shows me our MB's from our last trip which I do not want to use. I want new ones. Do I make them inactive or how do I 'say' I don't want to use them so I can get new ones?

Our last trip was the first trip they had the MB's so I don't know much about them.

If you are staying on-site you will be able to customize magic bands again. You will only not get them if you make the choice to decline them.

I had the same question as you. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but I did deactivate the old ones and within an hour the new ones popped up to customize. You can always activate them again so it's worth a shot.

You do not need to deactivate them. If you are staying on-site, you will get new magic bands.

If you are staying offsite, you will have to buy new magic bands if you want them.

If you stay onsite, you'll get new ones (as long as you don't decline them) whether the old ones are deactivated or not. They should all work.

The only reason to start deactivating them is if you end up with more than 10 bands on your account...the accounts have trouble handling more than 10 active bands at one time.

Yep, you do not need to deactivate them, and when you get your new ones you will actually be able to use both the old and new ones interchangeably. The Magic Band is just a window to your MDE account, where everything is stored. Any active media on your profiles can work.
