Magic Bands are live on DME!

I'm arriving in 32 days and when I checked DME this morning, the MB portion of the site was live. I got to customize my MBs both DH and me! FP+ still not live for me yet.

I mostly lurk but thought this might be news to some out there.

where is this website to do this. We are going in Sept and I would like to do some personalizing. Sounds like you have the 411 on how to access all of this stuff that I don't even know is out there. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thank

When you say 'customize' the MB's, what exactly do you mean? Colors? Names? Different designs?

Is this on the mobile phone app? If so where did it show up? For some reason I cannot access the MDE website from the UK and the app is very temperamental! Any info would be great thanks!

I wouldn't get too excited about this. There are a lot of errors on the MDE site.

I've had troubles finding a lot of the things on the mobile app (iPad and iPhone) and haven't had the patience to figure them out yet. I was on the My Disney Experience website. Going in August so I've been checking the website multiple times a day. This morning, it let me in the Magic Band portion but not the Fast Pass Plus part. It allowed me to choose names and colors for DH & me. We have a group of 22 that I'm in charge of (family reunion), but it only let me customize DH & me. I think it's because we're the only two with tickets linked to DME.

I'll post screen shots as soon as I do a refresher course in picture posting.

Thanks. I couldn't figure out what MDE was. I will keep checking for some tutorials--why reinvent the wheel right? Thanks for the info. I'll try it.

Popped up for me too (trip in December). When I click on 'manage bands or cards' it shows some of the room keys we used for our January trip (apparently still active). When I click on manage FP+, it pulls up July dates, and then blocks them out, stating my trip is not eligible.

Guessing there is another test going on, and they are limiting access via individual accounts?

Either way, getting excited!

Are you referring to the DME on the Disney website? What did you click? When I click MagicBands and cards (from the drop menu) all it shows is my old ticket from this past May. When I click Manage MagicBands I get the same thing. We are going in Sept. as well. Hmmmmmm

I will be leaving in 20 days and was able to access the FP+ as well. I went as far as picking the attractions I wanted and everything just did not complete it because I still dont know too much about it. It is our first visit after all lol

So it seems that the posters who are reporting being able to use the fast pass plus options on the MDE website are arriving in August and so far I have seen that the posters seem to be staying at Pop, AKL and Yacht Club.

Has anyone here who is booked in any month other than August been able to use the fast pass plus options on MDE? Has anyone booked at any place other than the above mentioned resorts been able to use the fast pass options on MDE?
