Magic bands and resort reservations

We are heading to Disney world at the end of May. Our original plan was to check in at Saratoga Springs Resort on May 23 for the duration of our stay. However, we're driving, so because of that I was able to convince my husband to leave a day early so now we'll be arriving in May 22. I was able to get a cash reservation at ASMo for that night. My question is, will My Disney Experience recognize that the reservations are essentially linked and therefore put all the room information for both resorts on the magic bands I have already set up for SSR? When I made the reservation for ASMo, I linked the reservation to MDE, but it is asking me to set up magic bands for that reservation. I'm sorry if this is confusing, but any input will be helpful!

You are entitled to MB for each reservation that you have. You can customize the ones for your ASMo stay of one night if you wish, or you can choose to decline them. There's no need to worry either way...any magic band linked to your MDE account will work to open the door to your room, and it will work seamlessly when you switch from AsMo over to SSR.
