When we go to Disney there will 3 generations. We will probably have 3 rooms or 2 suites and so different reservations. When we go to dinner together how will they charge the meals to the different reservations so each one pays for their own meals? I know at QS they will scan each magic band and the magic band goes with the person on a specific reservation. But my question is about table service meals.

Our next trip is the first for us w/ Magic Bands and DDP. How do you pay? Will they scan your Magic Band at the table and bring out your receipt?

Yes, you will still be given a bill. If you want to charge a tip to your room, write the amount in the tip line. The server will charge the tip, deduct the DP credits and return the receipt to you. Sign it and return it to the check book.

They will need to scan one magic band from each room. A bill and receipt will be generated for each room.

only one magic band from each room needs to be scanned.
at QS one person can order for everyone in the room and scan their band.
at TS you let them know at the beginning who is in what room and then at the end one person from each room scans their band.
you CAN do it all separately but especially at a TS that would be pretty pointless.
at a QS it would not be as pointless IF you were say eating at a food court in a resort and everyone wanted something different.
