Magic Band - with AP

When I made my DVC Hotel ressie, I got the link to select my magic bands for my party.. Recently I purchased APs for us.. do we get to select a second magic band at some point?

You have to activate your AP first (in person at WDW), then it will show up as a MagicBand order available to customize in MDE (same place Resort MagicBands show up to customize).

then can you get one there? or will it be shipped home?

You can pick up an AP Magicband (there will be no “name” on it) if you go to the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square Ticket Office and ask.

After you go home from that first trip, your MDX account will ask you to “customize “ a MB that will then be mailed to you.
