Hey is there a way if there's tickets on my magic band I have another recent magic band that hasn't been used yet. It only needs a battery but is there a way to switch the tickets thats on the magic band I bought from Disney themself and put the tickets on my magic band that I bought a long time ago. If so how? Thanks.

As long as the ticket is linked to you in MDE you can add an unlinked magic band to that account. I have several magic bands linked so I can either change them out through a trip or carry a backup with me.

Tickets are not “on” the MagicBands. Tickets are linked to your MDE profile, and MBs are also linked to the MDE profile, and any MB linked to you will access your ticket(s). A MagicBand that has not been linked in MDE can be given to another person. But if it is already linked to you, i don’t think you can change it to somwone else.

It only needs a battery
I don’t know what this means. To my knowledge you cannot change the battery in a Magic Band. If it is “recent” and hasn’t been used, the battery should be fine for long-range (ride pics) and short-range (ticket tapstiles, charging, etc.).

Short answer: ALL your tickets will appear on ALL of your Magic Bands, provided it is still working.
For all intents and purposes, You cannot change the battery in your Magic Band. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't.
If you go onto My Disney Experience, click the far right tab "My Disney Experience" and click on the "My Magic Bands and Cards", scroll to the bottom and it will tell you which of your bands are active and which are inactive. Easy Peasy. Any 'active' band will have any active tickets linked to it.

Just further clarification (?) on the battery part of the OP's post; even if the battery is dead the MB will still work just fine on all touchpoint. You can get into the park, open your resort door and charge to your room with a MB that has a dead battery. The only function that won't work is some of the on-ride photos that do rely on the longer distance sensing of the MB.

Just further clarification (?) on more of this...
no, the batteries cannot be changed or charged in MagicBands.

But, if you have a MB2 strap that you love, you can swap out the puck for one that works. You need a Phillips #0 screwdriver and good eyesight to handle the tiny screws but it’s not terribly difficult.
