Magic band package email alert?

Um we cancelled our trip last week and I got an email saying to pick up our magic band package upon arrival. To top that off we already had magic bands and refused new ones.
So why would they say we have magic bands waiting?

It’s an automated email. I would just double check that your reservation is gone completely from MDE. Or even on the WDW website, enter the confirmation number and make sure it is fully cancelled.

We decline our magicbands every single time we stay there (basically every month) and 9 out of 10 times they have grey ones waiting for us at the front desk.

Ok thanks ! It’s gone from MDE on the website. Maybe I better check the app.
